Outreach Programme
At Ail Arian, we believe sustainability is more than just recycling and education is equally as important. Our outreach programme is designed to engage and inspire the next generation by raising awareness about the growing issue of electronic waste and introducing them to our innovative solution.
The programme has two main components. First, we deliver an engaging presentation that explores the scale of the e-waste problem, highlighting key statistics, low recycling rates, and the harmful methods often used in current recycling processes. We then explain how our recyclable silver ink differs from traditional conductive inks, showing how it enables safe and easy recovery of valuable materials like silver without using hazardous chemicals.

The second part of the programme is a hands-on activity where each child receives a printed electronic circuit made using our recyclable silver ink on seed paper. They take part in the recycling process themselves, safely recovering silver using our eco-friendly method. The leftover seed paper pulp and wastewater are then planted, and each child takes home a pot of wildflowers they’ve helped grow from what would have once been considered waste, creating a lasting connection between technology and nature.
We’ve received excellent feedback from both children and teachers who have taken part in the programme, with many highlighting how fun, educational, and inspiring the experience was. If you’re interested in having us visit your school, please contact info@ailarian.co.uk
For schools outside of our catchment area, we also offer a posted outreach programme, which includes all the materials and guidance needed to deliver the session independently.
